To a solution of carboxylic acid (5 g) in CH2C12 (400 ml) at 0 C. was added N(OCH3)CH3.HC1 (11.5 g), DEC (15.1 g), HOBt (5.3 g) and NMM (43 ml) and stirred for 14 hr.
