The solid is triturated with 3 mL of water, filtered off by suction and washed with 3 mL of water and then with 3 mL of ethyl ether, and dried to give 280 mg of 6-iodo-N-(isoxazol-4-yl)imidazo[1,2-a]pyridine-2-carboxamide in the form of a beige-coloured solid. 1H NMR spectrum (DMSO-d6, delta in ppm): 10.93 (broad s, 1H), 9.24 (broad s, 1H), 9.02 (broad s, 1H), 8.81 (broad s, 1H), 8.43 (broad s, 1H), 7.60-7.48 (m, 2H). Mass spectrum (APCI): m/z=258 [M+H]+.
