Chemistry is an experimental science, and the best way to enjoy it and learn about it is performing experiments. Formula: C10H7NO4. Introducing a new discovery about 33282-15-4, Name is 5-(4-Hydroxyphenyl)isoxazole-3-carboxylic acid
Palladium-Catalyzed Asymmetric Ring Opening Reaction of Azabenzonorbornadienes with Aromatic Amines
A palladium/(R)-Binap catalyst for asymmetric ring opening reaction of azabenzonorbornadienes with amines was developed that afforded the corresponding substituted dihydronaphthalenes in good yields (up to 97%) with excellent enantioselectivities (up to >99% ee). To the best of our knowledge, this represents the first palladium-catalyzed asymmetric ring opening reaction of azabenzonorbornadienes with heteronucleophiles.
Note that a catalyst decreases the activation energy for both the forward and the reverse reactions and hence accelerates both the forward and the reverse reactions.Formula: C10H7NO4, you can also check out more blogs about33282-15-4
