Brief introduction of 3,5-Dimethyl-4-nitroisoxazole

A reaction mechanism is the microscopic path by which reactants are transformed into products. Each step is an elementary reaction. In my other articles, you can also check out more blogs about 1123-49-5

Synthetic Route of 1123-49-5, Because a catalyst decreases the height of the energy barrier, its presence increases the reaction rates of both the forward and the reverse reactions by the same amount.1123-49-5, Name is 3,5-Dimethyl-4-nitroisoxazole, molecular formula is C5H6N2O3. In a article, once mentioned of 1123-49-5

The present study reports an asymmetric organocatalytic cascade reaction of 4-nitroisoxazole derivative with alpha,beta-unsaturated aldehydes catalysed by chiral secondary amine. Using this approach, 1,2,3-trisubstituted cyclopropane products were obtained in isolated yields up to 98% with moderate diastereoselectivities, and enantiopurity up to 99% ee. Moreover, this synthetic protocol can be used for further applications, as shown by a set of additional transformations of the corresponding cyclopropanes and by the formal synthesis of GABA ligands. (Figure presented.).
