Novel Pyrazole-Hydrazone Derivatives Containing an Isoxazole Moiety: Design, Synthesis, and Antiviral Activity

In this study, a series of novel pyrazole-hydrazone derivatives containing an isoxazole moiety were synthesized. Antiviral bioassays indicated that some of the title compounds exhibited better in vivo antiviral activities against tobacco mosaic virus (TMV). The synthesis of new mesogenic alkyloxy pyrazole and isoxazole derivatives is reported.
