300-87-8, Name is 3,5-Dimethylisoxazole, belongs to isoxazole compound, is a common compound. Recommanded Product: 3,5-DimethylisoxazoleIn an article, once mentioned the new application about 300-87-8.

The regularities governing differences in the gas chromatographic retention indices of aromatic nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds were studied during gas chromatographic analysis on a nonpolar capillary column. The retention indices of pyrrole, pyrazole, imidazole, 1,2,4-triazole, oxazole, thiazole, isoxazole, pyridine, pyridazine, pyrimidine, pyrazine, and s-triazine and their alkyl derivatives depend on the number, nature, and arrangement of heteroatoms and alkyl groups in the cycles. The majority of homologous series of n-alkyl-substituted azoles and azines and n-alkylbenzenes is characterized by anomalously high differences between the retention indices of ethyl and methyl homologs. A scheme of calculation of retention indices of aromatic heterocyclic compounds from increments of heteroatoms was proposed.

A series of novel 6-phenylaminopurines have been efficiently synthesized in 3 steps exploring different groups at positions 2, 8 and 9 of the purine ring and at the exocyclic nitrogen atom at position 6. Among the newly described purines, five compounds showed antiproliferative activity with IC50 values below 10 muM, the tetrahydroquinoline derivative at position 6 of phenylaminopurine being the most active of the series in the six cell lines tested. Moreover, the compounds induced G2/M phase arrest in human cervical carcinoma HeLa cells as reported for tubulin depolymerizing agents.

Curcumin is a natural substance known for ages, exhibiting a multidirectional effect in cancer prevention and adjuvant cancer therapies. The great advantage of using nutraceuticals of vegetable origin in comparison to popular cytostatic drugs is the minimized side effect and reduced toxicity. The targets in oncological therapy are, among others, tyrosine kinases, important mediators of signaling pathways whose impaired expression is observed in many types of cancer. Unfortunately, the hydrophobic nature of the curcumin molecule often limits its bioavailability, which is why many studies focus on the chemical modification of this compound. Current research is aimed at modifying structures that improve the pharmacokinetic parameters of curcumin, e.g. the formation of nanoparticles, complexes with metals or the synthesis of curcumin derivatives with functional substituents that allow tumor targeting. The article is a review and analysis of current literature on the properties of curcumin and its derivatives in the treatment of cancers directed to signaling pathways of tyrosine kinases and confronts the problem of low assimilation of curcumin with potential therapeutic effects.

The [5+1] annulation of enamidines, which were prepared from functionalized silanes, organolithium compounds and two nitriles, with N,N-dimethylformamide dialkyl acetals as the C1 unit is described, leading to the synthesis of tri- and tetrasubstituted pyrimidine derivatives under catalyst- and solvent-free reaction conditions. Furthermore, the [5+1] annulation of enamidines by using orthoesters as the C1 unit is described, in which catalytic amounts of ZnBr 2 catalyze the annulation to produce polysubstituted pyrimidines under toluene or xylene reflux conditions. Moreover, the combination of a reductive ring-opening reaction with [Mo(CO)6] and a subsequent intramolecular cyclization with tBuOK effectively causes a skeletal transformation from the pyrimidines containing an isoxazolyl and an ethoxy substituent to form pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidin-5-one frameworks in excellent yield. A series of 4-arylamido 3-methyl isoxazoles were synthesized and evaluated for their antiproliferative activities against the A375P melanoma and U937 hematopoietic cell lines. Most compounds showed selective antiproliferative activity toward the U937 cell line and the activities were better than that of sorafenib, the reference standard. Derivatives were made as amide 5a-b, 6a-o and urea 7a-n, 8a-g with hydrophobic moieties, and one of the most potent inhibitor 6a, 5-methyl-N-(2-methyl-5-(3-(4-methylpiperazin-1-yl)-5-(trifluoromethyl)benzamido)phenyl)isoxazole-4-carboxamide was found to be very potent inhibitor of FMS kinase (GI50 Combining double low line 0.016 muM, IC50 Combining double low line 9.95 nM) with excellent selectivity profiles and is a promising candidate for further development in therapeutics for cancer.

The synthesis and utilization of a class of 2,1-borazaronaphthyltrifluoroborate reagents that provide a general solution to the challenge of N-functionalization of the 2,1-borazaronaphthalene core is described. By adorning the nitrogen of this core with a trifluoroboratomethyl unit, a suite of odd-electron processes can be executed, installing motifs that would otherwise be inaccessible using a two-electron approach. In addition, this process enables rapid annulation, furnishing a heretofore unknown polycyclic B-N species.
